Announcement

Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and Russian University of Friendship Among Nations (RUDN) invite undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students to take part in the 4th International Conference "CIS Countries and Globalization" on March30 - April 1, 2005. The conference will take place at the Economics Department of RUDN, Moscow.

Specific areas of interest include the following:

• The tendencies of social and economic development of the CIS countries.
• Industrial integration of the CIS.
• The formation of open-type economies in the CIS countries.
• Financial and economic problems of the CIS countries.
• Information technologies for the economy of the CIS.

Application deadline is February 21, 2005.
