The Annual All-Russia Conference of Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Researchers
On April 8-11, 2005, "Perspective" - the Annual All-Russia Conference of Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Young Researchers - took place at the research base of Kabardino-Balkarian State University in the settlement of Elbrus. This year over 600 research papers were presented there. Each year the representatives of the Republic of Adygheya take part in the conference. This year 53 research papers were presented by the students of Adygheya, including 40 papers from Adyghe State University.
The delegation of the Republic of Adygheya consisted of 20 people, including the constant member of the organization committee Fatima Tughuz, pro-rector for extracurricular work at ASU.
All the participants noticed the peculiarities of section work at this conference, the major of which was the form of free discussion, allowing every student to listen to each other, exchange their experience, and answer unexpected questions. Open discussions enabled young university professors to learn what knowledge and skills their students need to become real researchers. Unfortunately, such open exchanges of ideas are still uncommon at other conferences.
Benevolence, openness, hospitality and perspective created the dominating spirit of the conference. The cultural program was genuine, creative and full of the spirit of the Caucasus. All this adds to the popularity of such forums, helps to consolidate friendship among peoples, to preserve and further develop the traditions of research work.
Besides, all the participants were fascinated by the beauty of the Caucasus. The organization committee organized an excursion to the foot of Elbrus (5633), the highest peak of Europe. The conference being held in such a beautiful place is something like an award for excellent work and stimulus for each participant to strive for success in their further research activities.
The annual participation of ASU delegates in the "Perspective" Conference contributes to the rating of young researchers of our republic. No doubt, the representatives of high educational establishments of Adygheya should participate in such forums; moreover, it would be great if young researches from other regions came to our Republic on a similar mission.
All the participants of the conference thank the organization committee of the conference and personally Fatima Tughuz, as well as Rashid Khunagov, ASU President, for financial support.
