International Scientific and Practical Conference “New meanings of identity in modern socio-political realities”

The conference is dedicated to the 85^th anniversary of the Adyghe State University. It also focuses on how traditional forms of identity are changing in today’s world. The focus will be on strengthening the all-Russian national identity through ethnic, regional and civil aspects, which are key resources in this process. The organizers are the Adyghe State University, Federal Research Sociological Center RAS, the Council of Rectors of universities in the South of Russia, Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies at the Southern Federal University, South Russian, branch of the Federal Research Sociological Center RAS.

The conference will be held in two formats: in person and by correspondence. The in-person part will be held in the Conference hall of the Caucasian Mathematical center (Pervomaiskaya street, 208, Sports Palace “Yakoub Koblev”, entrance from

Gogol street, floor 9). The program includes oral presentations, participation in poster sessions, and discussions.
