The event is devoted to the 15th anniversary of the International faculty of the Adyghe State University. The bird cherry seedling is the symbol of the youth and spring has been planted near the faculty hostel.
The ASU International faculty students from Benin, Mianma, Kongo, Court-de Vour and Sudan together with the lecturers have planted other bushes and plants next to foreign students’ hostel.
The Vice-Rector on International activity of ASU Susanna Tlekhatuk has noted that 1362 foreign students from 44 countries study at the Adyghe State University. She said; “We do our best to adopt our foreign students to the education and to give much information about multi-cultural lifestyle in Russia. Our curators take them to excursions around Adygheya, invite them to the museums, theatres, concerts and parties, The tree that we have planted today is the symbol of peace and friendship among the students from different countries. And, the bird cherry tree is also the symbol of love to Russian poetry for our young people”.
The ASU International faculty was founded in 2008. The International faculty preparatory department educates on five directions: they are Humanitarians, Economical, Engineer and Technical, Medical and Biological and Natural and Scientific directions. The University has successfully passed the qualifying competition to have the right to educate foreign students ate the preparatory department through budget allocations in 2024-2025.
