Summer school for students of the Vernadsky consortium universities "How a student can become a mathematics teacher" will be held in Adygea from August 14 to 20

The school will be held in person at the educational base of the Adyghe State University "Gornaya Legenda" (Dakhovskaya village), located in a picturesque place in the foothills of the Western Caucasus, 50 km from Maikop.

 
Organizers of the school: Lomonosov Moscow State University and Adyghe State University. The goal of the school: to give students an idea of different forms and technologies for organizing work on

developing students' mathematical abilities.

The school program includes lectures, practical classes and master classes. The program and technologies for conducting classes with school math groups, the rules for compiling and checking assignments for olympiads and competitions, organizing mathematical projects (schools, olympiads, tournaments), psychological aspects of working with schoolchildren, information technology, artificial intelligence, information resources in teaching mathematics, organizing extracurricular activities aimed at maintaining the mental and physical health of schoolchildren will be analyzed. In addition, the participants will study the topic of the educational value of mathematics: they will consider mathematics as a tool for personal development and part of the cultural and historical code of the country.
 
Students of mathematical, technical and pedagogical specialties of the universities of the Vernadsky consortium can take part in the school. 30 people will be selected.
 
The school's teachers will be leading specialists in Russia in the field of mathematical education, organizers of mathematical educational projects, jury members of the All-Russian secondary school for children in mathematics, authors of books on Olympiad mathematics, popularizers of science, specialists in the field of educational psychology. To participate in the school, you must fill out a questionnaire by July 11, 2025 and send it to the address of the school's organizing committee: info@cmc.adygmath.ru .

Participation in the school, which includes an educational and excursion program, meals, and accommodation, is free of charge. Participants will be selected on a competitive basis. Travel to the venue is at the expense of the sending party. The organizing committee will organize a free transfer from the railway and bus station of Maikop (advance application required) to the school venue.
 
All participants who have passed the competitive selection will be sent an official invitation letter to the e-mail address specified in the application form no later than July 14, 2025.
