Foreign Students and Ethnic Adyghe Community Members Briefed on Repatriation Support Measures and Legal Aspects of Life in Russia
A meeting with foreign students from post-Soviet countries and their compatriots from among the ethnic Adyghe studying at the university was held in the conference hall of Adyghe State University.
The event was attended by Dovlet Dolev, Chairperson of the Committee of the Republic of Adygea on Nationalities, Relations with Compatriots and the Media, Elena Baklanova, Deputy Head of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea, Rustam Khatsats, Deputy Head of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea - Head of the Department for Work with Citizens of the Russian Federation, Aurelia Glushkova, Deputy Head of the Citizenship Department of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea, Yulia Goncharova, Deputy Head of the Department for Temporary Residence Permits and Residence Permits of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea, Adam Vorokov, Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Adygea "Adygea Republican Employment Center", and Eduard Khut, Senior Detective of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea.
Regional executive officials briefed international students on the state program for the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Republic of Adygea and the benefits available to participants and their family members. Participants learned the application process and the list of required documents for participation in the program. They also discussed measures to facilitate employment for foreigners. Regulatory and law enforcement officials explained the process for obtaining temporary residence permits for the purpose of obtaining education (TRP) for international students and addressed the unacceptability of terrorism and extremism in the region.
Such events help increase student awareness of permitting procedures and legal literacy for international students, prevent violations of immigration law by international students, and prevent the involvement of foreigners in illegal, terrorist, and extremist activities.
