International scientific conference "Cognitive Paradigms of Linguistic Consciousness and the Problems of Bilingualism in Modern Linguistics"

Philological faculty of Adyg State University within the framework of the strategic project "Valley of Languages - Adyg Land" will hold the III International Scientific Conference "Cognitive Paradigms of Linguistic Consciousness and the Problems of Bilingualism in Modern Linguistics". The conference will be held on October 27-29. The conference is expected to bring together scholars from Uzbekistan and nine Russian cities.
The conference is to discuss various issues of cognitive science and ethnopsycholinguistics. The event will include presentations in section meetings and open lectures.
On October 28, from 12.3 to 14.00, an open lecture "Language. Consciousness. Culture" will be held by Natalia Ufimtseva, professor of the department of General and Comparative Historical Linguistics of Moscow State University. Ufimtseva is a world-known scholar, laureate of the Russian Federation President Prize in Education, Honorary Professor of Harbin Pedagogical University, author of more than 350 scientific works.
An associate professor of the Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University Olga Balyasnikova will give an open lecture "Conflict-prone zones in the regional language consciousness" from 14.3 to 15.30.
The conference is held to promote scientific knowledge, preserve the national identity of peoples and their languages in the multi-ethnic space of the Republic of Adygea and explore topical issues of cognitology and bilingualism.
