Director of the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies at ASU Discusses Collaboration with Schoolchildren During August Teachers' Council in Koshekhablsky District, Adygea

Viktoria Buchatskaya, Director of the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies, participated in the thematic platform titled "Investing in the Future: Developing Science and Mathematics Education in Schools as the Foundation for the Country's Long-Term Technological Sovereignty." This event was held at Secondary School No. 8 in the village of Natyrbovo, Koshekhablsky District, as part of the August Republican Pedagogical Conference.

The platform addressed pressing issues concerning the implementation of the Comprehensive Action Plan for the Development of Mathematics and Science Education in the Republic of Adygea for 2025–2030.

Viktoria Viktorovna provided an overview of the various formats of engagement with schoolchildren that are employed at Adyghe State University through the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies.

"The school plays a vital role in identifying students' interests and supporting their initial steps toward professional development." The university is actively expanding its educational infrastructure by offering mentors, laboratories, project platforms, specialized programs, Olympiads, and hackathons. This comprehensive approach fosters a strong "teacher-student-university" connection, where interests are transformed into practical experience, experience informs conscious career choices, and those choices mark the beginning of a professional journey. As Victoria Buchatskaya noted in her report, 

"This continuous trajectory enables us to train specialists capable of contributing to the technological advancement of the region and the country."

A total of 115 participants engaged with the platform, including representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea, the Adygea Republican Institute for Advanced Studies, specialists from the State Certification Service of the Education System, the Republican School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, heads of municipal education authorities, municipal methodological offices (centers), as well as heads and deputy heads of general education organizations responsible for educational and extracurricular activities.
