Roman Naguchev, Sports Commentator, Named Honored Journalist of the Republic of Adygea

One of Russia's most popular TV presenters and sports commentators was presented with a certificate by Murat Kumpilov, Head of Adygea, during a Russian Cup Regions' Path match in Maykop involving Maykop's Druzhba and Krasnoyarsk's Yenisei, which Roman also commentated on.

"Roman Naguchev is our fellow countryman. He constantly maintains contact with his small homeland, professes his love for it throughout the country, and, moreover, endears everyone to our republic with his stories about Adygea," wrote Murat Kumpilov.

Roman Naguchev was born in the village of Vyselki in the Krasnodar Territory. In his youth, he played football and earned a first-class degree in sports. He graduated from Adyghe State University with a degree in Economics. During his studies, he played for the faculty team. It turned out that his favorite sport, which he could practice at the university without interrupting his studies, became his life's work. In 2007, he reached the finals of the NTV-Plus Football commentary competition. He joined the company in 2008. Since 2015, he has worked for Match TV.
