The Days of Science is one of the most important scientific events of 2024, dedicated to the celebration of Russian Science Day. The theme of the events is devoted to relevant issues of modern scientific knowledge and reflects the key directions of the University research activities.

The organizers are scientific and educational clusters, Institutes, ASU faculties, teachers and students., Student Scientific society, the Community of Young Scientists. Last two weeks the guests visited:

February. 5

A science-popular conference has been held for fans of geography and local lore. The lecture was "Toponymy of the Republic of Adyghey: modern aspects".The organizer was SEC "Institute of Living Systems and Health Engineering" ( Natural Science faculty). The ASU Geography department lecturer Tamara Tuova has told how the Republic's geograpgical and natural objects names are fixed.

Fefruary. 6

Future social teachers and psychologists discussed "Viability: modern challenges" at a Round table. The organizers were SEC "Institute of Life Quality" (Faculty of Social Technologies). The moderator was the Head of ASU Student Scientific society Dana Khashkhova. 

The scientific and popular lecture "Digital Earth. Digital Adygheya" has been organized by SEC "Institute of Living Systems and Health Engineering" (Natural Science faculty). The lecturer was ASU the scientist, Candidate of Biological Science Tatyana Varshanina.

Young Researcher school graduation

Since November 2023, students have learned methods of research to find scientific problems, publish thier articles and to win grants. Ten students attended the course. They were awarded the Certificate of education and recommendations for the participation at the Summer methodological Uneversity this year.

 

February.7

Quiz game "Scientist and a businessman" was organized to promote business activity in the field of science and technologies among the youth and in the frame of ASU Businessman club development. The organizer was Social Technologies and Tourism Department of Pedagogy and Social Psychology assistant SEC "Institute of Life Quality" Roman Ulyantsev and Rufina Shefrukova, the Department of Applied Mathematics, Information Technologies and Information Safety of ASU SEC "Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies".

Intellectual game was devoted both to research and business. The representatives of the University scientific and educational clusters played those games. The winner of the quiz and games will go to the All-Russian Forum of businessmen   "Slёt 2024 in Sochi, March, 20 -24.

Roman has said: "Our society is planning to organize events together with the ASU Businessmen club. Also, we are developing projects for students' practice at the companies of Adygheya".

 

February, 8

Traditional "Naukograd" is a great event of the Days of Science at the Adyghe State University for 800 schoolchildren of the Republic Adygheya and Krasnodar region. The organizers were all University faculties and laboratories. More than 60 thematical stations worked as interactive platforms in the frames of "Naukograd"

Guests visited Zoological and Ecological museums, laboratories, challenges, master classes, quests and games. 

February, 9

The XXIth All Russian Scientific and Practical conference "Science. Educaion. Youth" took place at "Yakub Koblev" Sports Palace Conference Hall. Undergraduate, graduate students and young scientists of Adygheya, Krasnodar region, Khanty-Mansy autonomous region and Pridnestrovye took part in it and discussed issues of special formation and development of mountainous territories as well as monitoring of biological diversity of Adygheya.

Students' reserach results in the field of energy resources and personal data safety will be presented at sessions. The reserach results in the field of Pedagogy, Social Psychology, Physiology and Physical training of schoolchildren have been presented. The materials will be published.

February, 12

Talks about science: there was a meeting with reserachers of the Foreign Languages Faculty at the ASU Conference Hall. The organizer was SEC " Institute of Humanitarian Knowledge and Culture" (Foreign Languages Faculty). The faculty lecturers were Betty Jandar, Susanna Makerova, Zayneta Khachmafova, Тatyana Ostrovskaya, Elena Doludenko and Elena Akulova. They told the students about their relevant research activities.

February, 13

The ASU Pedagogy and Psychology Faculty had two master classes: "Basket of ideas" and  "TOP-5 ways of working with information".The organizer of the event was Fatima Urakova, the Head of the ASU Department of Russian Language and Teaching Methods, Loubov Burkova, the Associate Professor of Natural Science and Mathematics Disciplines and Teaching Methods in the System of Pre-school and Primary education of the ASU Pedagogy and Psychology Faculty, Lyana Bagova, the Associate Professor of Natural Science and Mathematics Disciplines and Teaching Methods in the System of Pre-school and Primary education of the ASU Pedagogy and Psychology Faculty.

The ASU Pedagogy and Psychology Faculty first year students learned a lot about educational technology for the development critical thinking that allows them to create an atmosphere of partnership, a joint search of creative problem solving. The event participants considered popular "ways and methods": Idea basket, Thinwain, Circles on the water, Bloom's cubic, Cluster. Future psychologists gathered the idea basket and created a portrait of a modern teacher through the eyes of students.

—Those were incredibly interesting sketches. The reflection was lively in an unusual format. Speakers skillfully created a comfortable and friendly atmosphere of their master classes, helped the students to gain experience using common techniques of educational technology for the development critical thinking to improve thier teamwork skills, and use techniques for further activities

That day Klaus Alexander Mullen (Germany) gave the on-line lecture "Will the future be dark?". He is the UNESCO and Mendeleev Prizes winner for achivements in the field of fundamental sciencies.

The event opened the project lecture series, implemented by the International Educational and Examination center of the Adyghe State University and Council of Rectors of Universities in the South of Russia. Professor Mullen's lecture was devoted to the role of "black and transparent" carbon materials in the development of new trchnologies. Klaus Mullen said:

— Chemistry is the art of creating molecules. The molecules form new materials which present the most impotant tools to meet the society needs for energy and pure water, healthcare and sustainable development in a broader sense.

The Head of the Experimental Linguistics laboratory Susanna Makerova; commented on:

— This is an important meeting which will certainly be followed by developent. Кlaus Mullen demonstrates a high professionalism and a modern reproach to a scientific thought, the synthesis of scientific theories and methods. It significant that the lecture has been given for the first time to a wide audience on-line.

SEC "Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies" helped the students and guests to light stars during Astroquest.. Under the guidance of the senior teacher of the Theoretical Physics Department of ASU Engineering and Physics Faculty Alexander Shambin students learned constellations and made them from light bulbs.

In the frame of Days of Science and for the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Science, the Professor of the Adyghe State University, Corresponging Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, mathmatician Alexey Savateev has given opened lecture "The most ancient unsolved mathematical problems" and solved the mystery of mathmaticial puzzle!

February, 14

Scientific and practical seminar "Locality as a part of cultural landscape of Russian South: layout, typology and evolution" was held at the SEC "Institute of Living Systems and Health Engineering' (Natural Science Faculty). The lecturer was the Associate Professor of the Geography Department of ASU Natural Science Faculty Fatima Tuguz. Natural, ethno-cultural, historical and geographical factors of Adygheya cultural landscape formation, economical activity peculiarities, regional peculiarities of confessional space, place of Adygheya in cultural and geographical space of Russia were considered.

The participants made a conclusion that processes of rapprochement and assimilation should not be accelerated. It is more important to study the culture models carefully, identify their development patterns and connections with natural environment to understand the place and the role of each culture in the overall process of the human civilization development

Another open lecture was "Pushkin is the cultural phenomenon". It was devoted to the 225th anniversary of a great Russian writer. The organizer was SEC "Institute of Humanitarian Knowledge and Culture". Lecturers were the teachers of the Department of Literature and Mass Communications of the ASU Philological Faculty. They told about A. S. Pushkin's self-awareness, historical and social circumstances influenced on his formation. Candidate of Historical Science Nelya Shishkhova told the audience about commanders and poets-classicists of the XVIIIth century. Candidate of Philological Science Kirill Ankudinov touched the same problem in his report " The civic ideal of late Pushkin".

National genius Pushkin saw tragical present and future. The concept of " secret freedom" sung by Pushkin and picked by Alexander Blok could not be perceived by the "modernity" of Pushkin market era but it could be comprehended and adopted by future centuries. On the base of Law laboratory of Regional development of Institute of Law together with the Competence Centre " Law of Sustainable development" ESG-standarts MPOA in the name of Kutafin and the SEC "Institute of Law" organized the Round table "Law: sustainable development: the view of youth "

At the Institute of Law Round table they expressed thier opinion on the relevant topics. The Adyghe State University is the participant of the Cluster project Program " Priority 2030" and Consortium "Innovative jurisprudence".

The screening of the feature film produced by  Khuseyn Daurov " Prince Marukh" . The Road of Courage" was at the Conference hall. The film is an ethnographic canvas which represents everyday life and lifestyle of the Adyghe people. The film has become a valuable source of information about Adyghess' culture in the past. It helps modern viewers to have an idea of medieval Circassia on the eve of major political and demographic shocks and deepen your own understanding of ethnicity and life choices nature.

The film was shown in Adyghe language with Russian subtitles.

February, 15

The scientific and practice seminar "From the dialogue of culture to cultural dialogue. Dictionary development of cross cultural literacy: from theory to practice" was organized by SEC "Institute of Humanitarian Knowledge and Culture" (Foreign Languages Faculty). The lecturer Elena Аkulova told that languages are a kind of code in which a person encloses the world and his imagination. The way from a real life to the notion and verbal expression differs from one nation to another. That is caused by the differences in the geography and history. Also, that is due to those peoples' life features and their public consciousness differences  

Sociolinguists consider that different languaages are not different designations of the same thing but varuous ideas. So, that is why the semantic meanings of people from different cities of the same country can differ. For example, if a Muscovite pronounces words "loaf of bread", a Peterburger will not understand him because the word "loaf" is associated   with dark or "grey" bread.

February, 16

SEC "Institute of Quality of Life" held a Round table "Digital money transformation: the problems and prospects of introducing". The organizers of the Round table were Economy Faculty and its SEC. They are implementing the project "Citizens' trust to digital financial products on the example of "Digital ruble".

ASU, MSTC teachers and students and the representatives of the National bank of the Republic of Adygheya took part in the work of the Round table. A schoolgirl from Novosibirsk school № 69 Тatyana Afanasyeva joined to the discussion.

The Round table moderators were the ASU Finance and Sociology Department's Associate Professor Tatyana Silina and the Philosophy and Sociology Department Associate Professor Zaur Khacheysukov. The participants discussed trends of money digital transformations, bank service, аnd their prospects and difficulties. Special attention was paid in the reports to the implementation of the digital ruble.
