"Adyghe Dictation" was held for the sixth time this year, with the event dedicated to the Year of the Family. The dictation text, "Unagyor l'epkym yl'aps" ("Family is the basis of society"), was taken from the book "Adyge khabz" by Mira Unarokova, a candidate of historical sciences and associate professor at the department of history and culture of the Circassians at the faculty of Adyghe philology and culture at ASU.

The dictation was conducted in two formats - offline and online, with 360 participants. The youngest participant was 11 years old, while the oldest was 75. The dictation was written in the Adyghe literary language in Adygea, the Krasnodar Territory, the Stavropol Territory, and Turkey.

At the Faculty of Adyghe Philology and Culture at the Institute of Humanitarian Knowledge and Culture of ASU, a total of 65 participants took part in the "Adyghe Dictation," including public figures, journalists, students, and teachers from various universities and secondary schools. Many of the attendees have participated in the event multiple times in the past. Notable among the participants is Nedzhdet Meshvez, a renowned doctor, scientist, and public figure, who is writing the "Adyghe Dictation" for the sixth consecutive year.

For the first time, both teachers and students from Urup Secondary School No. 9 in the Krasnodar Territory attended the event in person, demonstrating their support for the cause. Additionally, 296 individuals participated remotely by completing the dictation online.

Overall, the event was a great success, with an impressive turnout and a diverse range of participants showing their commitment to preserving and promoting the Adyghe language and culture. For the online audience, the text was read by the esteemed journalist of the Republic of Adygea and editor-in-chief of the republican newspaper "Adyge Mak," Saida Meshlok. In face-to-face classroom settings, the text was dictated by teachers from FAFC.

The results of the dictation will be posted on the website of the Faculty of Adyghe Philology and Culture (www.adygland.ru). Participants can request a certificate of participation in the event.
