photo1715860896.jpegEmployees of the Adyghe State University recently conducted a comprehensive training program for the heads of press services of the National Guard troops, aimed at fostering effective communication with the media.

A three-day training and methodological gathering was held in Maikop, featuring representatives from all districts of the National Guard troops. The event was hosted in part by the Adygea State University, which provided a unique setting for knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.

The program featured a lecture and masterclass by Nadezhda Sukhovaya, Adviser to the Rector on Media Policy at Adygea State University and a retired lieutenant colonel of the internal service. Sukhovaya, who previously headed the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Adygea, shared expert insights on establishing effective cooperation with media outlets, turning ordinary facts into engaging news stories, and finding a balance between departmental requirements and audience interests.

Valeria Vrubel, Head of the Special Projects Department at Adygea State University's Information and Image Policy Department and Honored Journalist of Adygea, presented a lecture on the art of video filming for television news stories and materials. With over 10 years of experience in regional television, Vrubel provided valuable insights on composition rules, picture selection, and what types of stories are most likely to capture TV channels' attention.

Following the classes, participants received specially prepared presentations containing valuable information on the topics covered. The training program was designed to enhance employees' skills, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote joint decision-making in covering the activities of the federal service.

According to the Russian National Guard's press service, such events are held annually across the country, enabling employees to refine their skills and develop effective communication strategies with the media.
