The Head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, established the V.A. Sadovnichy Prize for students of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) who participate in the projects of the Vernadsky—Republic of Adygea consortium. This prize will be awarded annually to MSU students who achieve outstanding results in the research and educational projects of the consortium. The first laureates of this prestigious award were Dana Mamiy, a master's student in the Faculty of Biology, and Vsevolod Tril, a student in the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.

The laureates received their diplomas at the Council of Deans of Faculties and Directors of Institutes of Moscow State University. On behalf of Head of Adygea Murat Kumpilov, the university staff was welcomed by Russian Federation senators from Adygea, Alexander Narolin and Murat Khapsirokov. The event was also attended by Daud Mamiy, the rector of Adygea State University, who spoke about the Vernadsky project, the region's long-standing cooperation with Moscow State University, and the active participation of MSU students in educational and research activities in Adygea.

Both laureates are graduates of the Republican School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Dana Mamiy combines her studies at Moscow State University with her teaching role at REMSH. For several years, she has been actively involved in organizing and conducting the Summer Biology School in Adygea, and since 2023, she has served as a key developer of its educational program. She delivered a plenary report at the All-Russian Congress of Biology Teachers, where she showcased REMSH's projects in biology. Additionally, she was a member of the jury for the final stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad in Biology.

Vsevolod Tril also maintains a connection with REMSH; he regularly participates in the Summer Mathematical Schools in Adygea and the annual November Mathematical Program at the Sirius Educational Center, which is implemented by ASU. He is engaged in research in the field of topology, and his scientific article has been accepted for publication by one of the oldest academic journals, “Matematicheskii Sbornik,” which has been publishing the results of original scientific research since 1866.

The awardees were congratulated by the rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Viktor Antonovich Sadovnichy. He expressed his gratitude to the students for their active participation in the projects of the scientific and educational consortium "Vernadsky - Republic of Adygea." He wished them success in their studies and scientific endeavors and presented them with a book that included a personal dedication.

The Vernadsky program, initiated by Lomonosov Moscow State University—the leading university in the country—has taken on the mission of creating a model for collaborative interaction among universities and research institutes across various regions of our nation. This initiative not only fosters the transformation of regional universities into engines of regional development but also strengthens the cohesion of the all-Russian scientific and educational system. Currently, 33 regions of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Adygea, are participating in this project.
