ASU Spring - 2025: Celebrating the Inaugural Student Festival at Adyghe State University

The XXVI Open Student Festival "ASU Spring - 2025" will be held at Adyghe State University from April 1 to 15. This year the event is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Adyghe State University and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The festival was opened by the rector of ASU Daud Mamiy, who welcomed the participants.

 - Our student festival has been around for over 25 years, and each new generation of participants fills it with their creative energy and meanings, making it even more interesting. Many thanks to the participants for this. The festival helps to reveal creative abilities. Many of those guys who successfully performed on this stage later achieved professional success in creativity, - said Daud Mamiy.

"Spring ASU - 2025" is held by the ASU Culture Center with the support of the youth policy department of the Administration of the municipality "City of Maykop". During its existence, the festival has become one of the largest platforms in the region for performances, communication and creative exchange.

Since 2009, "ASU Spring" has been the official regional platform for the student creativity support program "Russian Student Spring" and its winners annually receive the right to represent Adygea in the final of the All-Russian festival "Russian Student Spring".

Students of the Adyghe Pedagogical College named after Kh.B. Andrukhaev, the Adyghe Republican College of Arts named after U.Kh. Tkhabisimov, the Polytechnic College of the Maikop State Technological University, and the Adyghe State University, which will be represented at the festival by teams from five institutes of the university, the ASU branch in Belorechensk, and the Maikop State Humanitarian and Technical College of the ASU, will take part in the festival "Spring of the ASU - 2025".

Both individual performers and student creative groups can participate in the festival's competition program. Participation in the festival is possible in two categories: specialized and non-specialized. Winners will be determined in four areas: music, dance, theater and original genre.

The creative numbers of the contestants will be assessed by a competent jury, which includes the director of the ASU Culture Center, the head of the regional directorate of the Russian Student Spring Program Lidiya Konovalova, the head of the youth policy department of the Maykop Municipal Administration Egor Sergeev, the artistic director of the RA Concert Association Bislan Nagoev, the honored worker of culture of the Republic of Adygea, the head of the Acting Department - ARKI named after U.Kh. Tkhabisimov Sarra Achmiz, a ballet dancer of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea "Nalmes", People's Artist of the Republic of Adygea, Honored Artist of Russia Angela Khakuy, and a choreographer, the head of "ALFA STUDIO" Janeta Stash.

On April 7, the festival will include a music and poetry competition, “Victorious Spring.”

The gala concert and award ceremony for the winners of the XXVI Open Student Festival "ASU Spring - 2025" will take place on April 15 at 16:00 in the ASU concert hall. The winners of the festival will be awarded diplomas and memorable prizes, and will also receive the right to represent Adygea in the final of the All-Russian Festival "Russian Student Spring", which will be held in Kazan.
