Conference of the Council of Rectors of Universities of Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea Held at Adyghe State University
An event celebrating the university's anniversary was held at the ASU Scientific Library, chaired by Sergei Alekseenko, Rector of Kuban State Medical University. The council was attended by leaders of prominent regional universities, including Marina Borovskaya, President of Southern Federal University and Chair of the Council of Rectors of Universities in Southern Russia. Vladimir Gurba also participated in the event.
The Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District attended the event via videoconference. A key topic of discussion was personnel training within the framework of the priority areas of national technological leadership projects.
In his report, titled "The Challenge of National Technological Leadership as a Driver for the Development of Adygea State University," ASU Rector Daud Mamiy discussed the university's innovative projects implemented as part of the "Priority 2030" program. These projects are based on a targeted model for integrating mathematics and information technology into all subject areas of the university, with a focus on regional development.
ASU's strategic goal for technological leadership is to transform into a hub for innovative solutions and expertise in mathematical modeling, data analysis, and computer vision. The university aims to foster scientific research, enhance competitiveness in the agro-industrial complex and other high-tech industries, and shape scientific, educational, and technological trends. To achieve this, plans include creating digital solutions, facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technology to the real economy, and addressing the shortage of specialized professionals in the agro-industrial sector.
Evgeny Nizhnik, Rector of Armavir State Pedagogical University, spoke to the participants about the system of specialized training in higher education within the Krasnodar Territory. His report focused on strategies for implementing educational projects.

Igor Lagerev, Rector of Kuban State Technological University, discussed the innovative integration of educational institutions. He highlighted the "Engineering Classes 2.0" project, which aims to foster collaboration between technical universities, engineering classes, school technology parks, and partner companies.
