Adyghe State University has been awarded scholarships from the President and Government of the Russian Federation for the 2025/2026 academic year. The Russian Government Scholarship is granted annually to citizens studying at Russian universities in recognition of their significant achievements in their respective fields of study.

Candidates for the scholarship must maintain a clean academic record, with no outstanding grades, and must have demonstrated satisfactory performance throughout their studies. Additionally, applicants are required to have received at least 50 percent of their midterm assessments with "excellent" grades between April 1 of the year prior to the scholarship year and March 31 of the scholarship year.

Based on these conditions, five ASU students will receive a Russian Government scholarship of 20,000 rubles per month as a result of the competition. In the field of education and pedagogical sciences, Anastasia Bagirokova and Diana Muselimyan, students from the Faculty of Adyghe Philology and Culture, were recognized. In the field of mathematics and natural sciences, Irina Baydalakova, a student from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, was awarded a stipend. In the social sciences, stipends were granted to Ekaterina Stroykova and Azamat Chitaov, students from the Faculty of Law.

The Russian Presidential Scholarship is awarded annually for a year to Russian citizens studying full-time at Russian higher education institutions in fields that align with Russia's scientific and technological development priorities, as outlined in the Russian Federation's Scientific and Technological Development Strategy.

Timofey Bychkov, a student at the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies, received the Russian Presidential Scholarship of 30,000 rubles per month for his achievements in engineering, technology, and technical sciences.

Additionally, Anastasia Bagirokova and Timofey Bychkov were honored with special prizes.

The awards ceremony for the Southern Federal District took place on December 10 at Kuban State University. The event was attended by Vladimir Ustinov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Southern Federal District; Veniamin Kondratyev, Governor of Krasnodar Krai; and Sergei Boyko, Acting Director of the Department of State Youth Policy at the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
