ASU Honors Winners of the 18th Regional Online Olympiad in Foreign Languages, Expanding Horizons Beyond ASU

ASU honored the winners of the 18th Open Regional Online Olympiad in Foreign Languages. The Faculty of Foreign Languages at Adyghe State University hosted an awards ceremony for the participants of the 18th Open Regional Online Olympiad in Foreign Languages, aimed at students in grades 5-8, as well as the 17th University Regional Olympiad in Foreign Languages for schoolchildren in grades 9-11.

This year, the Olympiad attracted over 100 participants, with their reach extending beyond Adygea. The university welcomed students from Krasnodar, Armavir, Tuapse, Slavyansk-on-Kuban, and Bryansk. Among the mentors were ASU alumni who brought their top students to compete. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Betty Jandar, delivered a warm welcoming speech to the guests. She awarded diplomas to the winners and runners-up and expressed gratitude to their mentors through letters of appreciation.

Winners:

French

1st place: Arina Semenova (Collège N° 12, Slavyansk-sur-Kouban), Milana Kokhuzheva (Gymnase N° 22, Maïkop).

Runners-up: Bodena Kovalenko (Collège N° 12, Slavyansk-sur-Kouban), Alexandra Felagereva, Elina Kurochkina (Gymnase N° 22, Maïkop), Maria Pavlova (Gymnase N° 1, Armavir).

German

1st place: Vera Fisenko, Anastasia Kaplunova (Secondary School No. 9, Dondukovskaya village).

Runners-up: Natalia Chirkina (Secondary School No. 12, Slavyansk-on-Kuban), Denis Puzankov (Secondary School No. 9, Dondukovskaya village).

English

1st place: Ivan Vladimirov (Secondary School No. 60, Bryansk), Arina Eremenko (Secondary School No. 10, Maykop).
