Over 800 Schoolchildren Engaged in the 10th Annual "Science City 2026" at Adyghe State University, Showcasing the Future of Science and Innovation
Over 800 schoolchildren participated in the highly engaging science interactive event, "Science City 2026," held at Adyghe State University. This prominent event is being held for the tenth time and stands as one of the key components of the Science Days, which are taking place at ASU from February 8 to 13. During this period, students from grades 7 to 11 from educational institutions across all municipalities of Adygea visited the Science City stations.
"Understanding that science is a highly promising field is essential for students. Therefore, ASU traditionally organizes a project in celebration of Russian Science Day to inform schoolchildren about the latest trends in science and to showcase what they can achieve even while still in school. For example, the 'Sirius. Summer' project enables schoolchildren and university students to collaborate on solving a simple yet significant research problem," ASU Rector Daud Mamiy stated to reporters.

This year's Science City program featured a diverse array of activities, including master classes, quizzes, intellectual games, quests, and workshops designed and organized by faculty and students from all of the university's faculties and institutes for schoolchildren. A total of 60 venues offered a variety of engaging experiences, allowing participants to independently select their preferred activities and attend at scheduled times, ensuring that every child had the opportunity to explore their interests.
Participants could embark on a "Journey to the World of Alchemy" at the Chemistry Department, engage in the legal role-playing game "Force Majeure," or solve the "Secrets of the Investigation" in an exciting quest. Technology enthusiasts had the chance to attend a 3D printing master class, participate in an interactive video creation session utilizing neural networks, and engage in discussions about digital privacy. The humanities were represented by the literary game "Smart Guys and Smart Girls," the etymological detective story "Word Travel Through Time," and an intellectual quiz focused on the history of ASU.
