The Department of Foreign Languages at Adyghe State University co-organized the All-Russian Scientific Competition in Foreign Languages titled "Technologies of the Future Today," specifically tailored for engineering students. The event was hosted by Don State Technical University.

The organizing committee at Adyghe State University included Betty Jandar, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; Zarema Khabekirova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages; and Elena Doludenko, Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology.

The primary objectives of the competition were to enhance the quality of technical education, foster motivation among students to learn foreign languages as essential tools for intercultural and professional communication, and to stimulate the creative potential of future specialists. Participants were tasked with creating a short video on the theme "Technologies of the Future Today" in one of the following languages: English, German, or French.

The competition featured both individual and team categories. A total of 144 videos were submitted for evaluation by the jury. Following a thorough review, winners were selected in each category, and recipients were awarded first, second, and third-place diplomas.

Twelve applications were submitted by students from the Institute of Exact Sciences and Digital Technologies at ASU. Participants received coaching and guidance from Zarema Khabekirova, Rima Simbuletova, and Asiyat Shkhumishkhova, lecturers in the Department of Foreign Languages, as well as Elena Akulova and Elena Doludenko, lecturers in the Department of English Philology.

Individual championship:

First degree diploma - Kirill Lobachev ( supervisor - Zarema Khabekirova)

"Kirill's video is about the future that has arrived. He wanted to show that the future is speaking into a microphone and writing texts right now, but not everyone notices it. The goal was to evoke melancholy, nostalgia, and even a slight shock in the viewer," said the student's academic advisor, Zarema Khabekirova.

Second-degree diploma – Evgeny Polyakov (supervisor – Rima Simbuletova)

Team Championship:

First-degree diploma – Anna Vorotnikova, Milana Sheludsheva (supervisor – Elena Akulova)
