Adyghe State University Student Diana Zarovnyaeva Ranked Among the Top Five Finalists in the International English-Language Essay Competition "Social Justice: Problems, Discussions, Solutions"
Diana Zarovnyaeva, a Master’s student in the Faculty of Economics at Adyghe State University, distinguished herself by representing the university in the finals of the International Essay Competition in English, titled "Social Justice: Problems, Discussions, Solutions," where she secured fourth place.
The competition was held as part of the Entrepreneurship and Engineering Congress of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, hosted by Ural State University of Economics. In 2026, the event set a record for participation, with 462 applications from Russia, China, and Sri Lanka submitted during the qualifying round. Ultimately, seventeen finalists from eight regions of Russia and China, including Diana Zarovnyaeva, were invited to the final stage.
During the finals, she delivered an essay on the topic: "Education as a Tool for Social Justice: How Innovative Education Management and Teacher Professional Development Promote Social Unity." Her presentation and defense took place in person in Yekaterinburg.
"Diana performed exceptionally well. The competition in the finals was intense, so securing fourth place is a significant achievement. She is truly intelligent," said Zarema Khabekirova, Diana's academic supervisor and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at ASU.
