Aidamir Bguashev Appointed Vice-Rector for Secondary Vocational Education at Adygea State University

A new position has been established at Adyghe State University: Vice Rector for Secondary Vocational Education. Aidamir Bguashev has been appointed to this role. He has served as the head of ASU's Maykop State Humanitarian and Technical College since July 2022 and will now assume responsibilities for both positions.
"Given the growing importance and significance of secondary vocational education in the country, and considering that our college is one of the largest departments in this field, a decision has been made to appoint Aidamir Baterbievich Bguashev as Vice Rector for Secondary Vocational Education. We wish him success in advancing our specialized vocational training," stated ASU Rector Daud Mamiy during the Academic Council meeting held on 27. May, where he introduced the new Vice Rector.
Aidamir Bguashev is a distinguished leader, scholar, educator, and mentor with extensive experience in advancing education, physical education, and sports in the Republic of Adygea. Since 1991, his professional career has been closely associated with Adygea State University. Prior to his tenure as the head of Moscow State University of Physical Culture and Judo, he served as the director of the Adygea State University Institute of Physical Education and Judo for ten years. Under his stewardship, the institute achieved notable success and was consistently ranked among the top departments within the university based on performance metrics.
A candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor, and author of over 90 scientific publications, Aidamir Bguashev is also recognized as an Honored Worker of Physical Education by both the Russian Federation and the Republic of Adygea. His contributions to the field have earned him widespread respect among colleagues, students, and the broader professional community.
