The 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Language, Text, and Culture: Problems of Linguistics and the Study of Russian as a Foreign Language" was held at the International Faculty of Adyghe State University . The scientific forum brought together over 40 researchers from Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, and Kyrgyzstan.
The organizing committee included renowned scholars specializing in Russian studies: Anna Nemyka , Doctor of Philology and Professor at Kuban State University ; Elena Lagay , Doctor of Philosophy, Professor and Head of the Department of Russian Language and Teaching Methods at the Uzbek State University of World Languages; Zhurakul Choriev , Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogical Sciences and Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at the Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy ; and Rakhat Niyazalieva , Candidate of Philological Sciences and Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology at Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev .
Anna Nemyka delivered the keynote address "Linguacultural Aspects of Mediation in Various Types of Discourse" at the plenary session. The professor's presentation set the tone for the subsequent discussion and defined the main themes.
During the conference, participants discussed priority areas of modern scholarship: linguacultural text analysis and conceptology, intertextuality and precedent of various types of discourse, intercultural communication and dialogue of cultures, as well as the representation of the author in literary text.
Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of teaching Russian as a foreign language: the use of text resources in teaching, authentic digital texts, and gamification in the practice of Russian as a foreign language.
"The papers presented were of a high scientific standard, and the forum itself demonstrated the importance of dialogue between linguists, cultural studies scholars, and practicing teachers. I am confident that its materials will make a significant contribution to the development of Russian as a foreign language teaching methods and the strengthening of international academic ties," concluded Marietta Naptsok, chair of the organizing committee, dean of the international faculty at ASU, PhD in philology, and associate professor .
