A series of large-scale cultural events featuring a creative delegation from Adygea took place in the Kingdom of Morocco as part of the Days of Russian Culture from June 9 to 18. Residents and visitors to Rabat, Marrakesh, and Agadir were introduced to the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Adyghe (Circassian) people.

The program was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Adygea and the Russian Embassy in Morocco. This large-scale cultural project coincided with a significant date: the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Joint Declaration on Deepening the Strategic Partnership between Russia and Morocco. The delegation was led by Yuri Autlev, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Adygea.

Leading creative groups and performers from the republic participated in the concert program. Among them are the Honored Folk Art Group of Russia, the folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Ashmez" under the direction of Asiet Baste, associate professor of the Department of Music and Performance Disciplines at Adyghe State University  , and Aslan Tlebzu, a lecturer at the ASU Institute of Arts, Honored Artist of Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Ingushetia, a virtuoso accordionist, composer, and arranger whose works seamlessly combine folk motifs with a modern sound .

According to the Russian Government's website, Morocco has traditionally been one of Russia's most important partners in Africa. Despite the current geopolitical situation, the dialogue between our countries continues to strengthen within the framework of the Statement on Enhanced Strategic Partnership adopted in 2016.  Morocco traditionally ranks among Russia's leading partners in Africa in terms of trade turnover. For example, trade in products between the two countries is steadily growing. Russia is interested in increasing supplies in the sectors of industry, agriculture, transport, energy, and subsoil use. Furthermore, the partnership between Russian and Moroccan universities is developing successfully. In the 2024/25 academic year, over 4,000 Moroccan citizens were studying at Russian universities.
