Education

The 32nd Summer Mathematics School concluded in the foothills of Adygea. For three weeks, 112 schoolchildren from 12 regions of Russia solved problems, attended lectures, and participated in creative and athletic competitions at the Gornaya Legenda ASU training and production facility.

The school offered eight educational programs: three competitive and olympiad groups for grades 9–11 and five olympiad groups. Teachers supported participants at every stage, from independent solution searches to collaborative homework review.

The third week was devoted to specialized courses. The school's lecturers included renowned scientists and science communicators. Andrey Raigorodsky and Alexey Savvateyev gave their first joint lecture, while Alexander Bufetov , for whom the LMS was his first, spoke about his education in Egypt. Ishak Farkhutdinov, as part of the ASU project "Science Around. Third Season," gave a lecture on the history of the Earth and the greatest geological discoveries.

"Science Around" is a nationwide scientific and educational project of Adygea State University. The project is being implemented with grant support from the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the Decade of Science and Technology.

In addition to their studies, the students participated in sports tournaments in football, chess, and table tennis. The mañana tournament became a tradition. The program also included intellectual games, debates, workshops, the "Bridges of the Future" scientific and technical creativity festival, and the LMS Cultural Unity Day.

The school's results were summarized at a closing ceremony. Participants who demonstrated the best academic results were awarded diplomas and certificates, as well as math books. Successes in sports, intellectual games, and creative competitions were also recognized.

The Summer Mathematics School was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea, Adygea State University, the Polaris-Adygea Regional Center for the Identification and Support of Gifted Children, and the Republican School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The project was supported by Sber.
