All _Russian dictation on English
The Adyghe State University together with  the Kazan Federal University will conduct an  All-Russian dictation in English on  December  9.

At the same time, the dictation will be held in 500 educational institutions. Everyone can  take part in it. The dictation is taking place for the ninth year on the initiative of the KFU Youth Policy Department in cooperation  with the KFU International Relations, History and Oriental Studies Institute. The main event purposes are to motivate students to study foreign languages, improve litaracy and English language proficiency.

In 2023 more than 35 thousand students from 68 Russian regions, Belarus, Argentina, Turkey, Germany, India, Egypt, Hungary, Great Britain, Tadjikistan and Uzbekistan joined to the dictation. The dictation consists of 300-400 words (14-20 sentences). It will last 30 minutes.

The participants are forbidden to carry reference materials, written notes and other means of storage and information. The results  will be known after January 9, they will be published  on the Kazan Federal University website and the project organizations' sites. The winners will receive electronic diplomas and other prize winners will receive electronic certificates of participation.

In  2024 the dictation will be a part of the celebration of the 220th anniversary  of the Kazan Federal University, which is famous for its rich history and contribution into to the development of science and education in the country. The text is dedicated to an outstanding figure and  scientist of the second oldest institution of higher education of Russian Federation. The dictation text has been prepared by the KFU International Relations, History and Oriental Studies Institute teachers
