Applications for participation in the Geographical dictation are now being accepted.

On November 30, everyone will be able to test their knowledge of the geography and Russian peoples’ culture. This is a great opportunity to learn something new and broaden your horizons.

In 2025, an All-Russian public organization “Russian Geographical Society” will hold the 11^th International educational event “Geographical dictation”.  

In 2025, most of the tasks are based on the best questions from the contest “Write your question for the Geographical dictation. The contest received more than    1260 puzzle tasks from 18 countries. The organizers selected the best ones and included them in the main test.

The dictation uses materials from leading Russian companies and foreign partners of the Russian Geographical Society. The theme of the Dictation reflects the key events and anniversaries of 2025: the 180the anniversary of Russian Geographical Society, the 80^th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, the 500 anniversary of development of the Northern Sea Route. It also reveals historical, cultural and geographical interrelations between Russia and BRICS countries.

To participate in the Geographical dictation, all you need to do is register  on link and to come on November 30 at 11:00 in room №305а named А.К. Yachikov, ASU main building.
