Among these books are bilingual titles in Russian and Adyghe: “Adyghe Khabze for Little Ones” by Raya Unarokova and Tatyana Kim, “A Painted Letter” by Kirimize Zhane, “The Tale of a Sunbeam” by Nasiba Kipke, and “An Island Lies on the Sea” – an excerpt from “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” by Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, translated by Kirimize Zhane.
-The presentation of the book series "Children's Literature from Adygea" took place within the framework of the Moscow International Children's Book Fair in September of last year. Our books were well received not only by readers but also by the professional community, attracting significant interest. We received several cooperation offers, including one from LitRes. It is gratifying that bilingual books in Russian and Adyghe will be presented for the first time on the largest platform for electronic books in Russia,- said Leila Kurashinova, the author of the "Children's Literature from Adygea" project.
The Adyghe University Publishing House was established in October 2023, originating from the publishing and printing center of Adyghe State University. Since 2024, it has been a member of the Association of Book Publishers of Russia (ASKI). Each year, the publishing house releases approximately fifty titles across various genres, including scientific, educational, methodological, fiction, and children's literature.
Under the brand “Children's Literature from Adygea,” the publishing house features works by winners and prize-winners of the International Competition of Literary Works for Children named after Kirimize Janet, which is held annually by Adyghe State University. This brand also includes previously unpublished works by contemporary authors, as well as translations of classics from Russian literature in both Russian and Adyghe languages.
